The Apollo Theater was the most important place during 1934. The Apollo Theater is located on 125th St in New York City in the Harlem District. There were many shows being played there are still many today in the 21th Century. There were mostly African Americans that went there to the Apollo Theater, but it was a place to just unwind from a very hard days work. Although, during 1910, the Apollo Theater were having to The Apollo Theater has gone through many changes over the years. The Apollo Theater has shown many celebrities that have passed away, such as James Brown, Michael Jackson, and many more. They also had the Rock/Metal band Metallica!

  • This event falls under the category, Hedonism (the pursuit of pleasure) so the people came to the Apollo Theater to just get away from the usual hustle and bustle of their everyday lives. This was a place to just relax and have fun and be with friends.
