Description:

There were two men accused of a brutal murder of the paymaster Parmenter and the guard Berardell on April 15, 1920. The two men accused were a shoemaker Nicola Sacco and a fish peddler Bartolomeo Vanzetti.  Their trial lasted 7 weeks and they gave them the death penalty. On August 23, 1927 they died from the electric chair.

Category
The category this case fits under is intolerance because they ruled them guilty and would not change the ruling. The judge was biased and evidence was manipulated. They were Italian immigrants so the judge was kind of like well you're not american so i am not gone to believe you. Testaments have been tampered with.

Quote:
“Defense lawyer Fred Moore charged that the trial was politically motivated, with collusion between local and federal authorities intent on repressing Italian anarchists” (Commentary on Sacco and Vanzetti).
